Carrie-Anne Channon

Carrie Anne is an artist printmaker and educator based in Co. Kildare. Working primarily within Screen Printing and exhibiting on both a regional and international basis with her array of hand pulled screen printed posters and wallpapers Carrie-Anne’s work battles current social ethical issues through the lens of millennial humour. Carrie-Anne previously graduated with a bachelors (Hons) degree in Fine Art with Printmaking from the Crawford College of Art and Design, Munster Technological University. Carrie-Anne’s teaching practice focuses on creating an inclusive learning environment and the philosophy of looking back in history to better improve the learning of today. Carrie-Anne is currently researching the history of the Irish education system and mapping key curriculum changes in tune with the context of its time. Carrie Anne hopes to continue exhibiting her work alongside passing on her own gathered knowledge to the following generations of young artists.
